Kids Vision for Life St. Louis (KVFL-STLWRWR2014-DIS-Kids-Vision-for-Life---St (2)) was honored on May 7 with a What’s Right with the Region! award from FOCUS St. Louis for “Demonstrating Innovative Solutions.” The 17th annual regional celebration recognized success stories from the Greater St. Louis area.

This was the fourth ARCHS-supported program since 2005 to be honored with a What’s Right with the Region! award. KVFL-STL received the award for its work that demonstrates innovative solutions by increasing access to comprehensive vision services for St. Louis area students.

Over the past five years, KVFL-STL has:
• Screened 42,283 students
• Examined 7,268 students
• Prescribed 5,567 eyeglasses
