It’s time to focus our attention on the wonderful group of doctors that assist Kids Vision for Life St. Louis in providing quality eye care for local students. This week we will focus on Dr. Abby Kilgore, OD.
Dr. Kilgore has worked for Crown Vision Center for the past ten years and began working with Kids Vision for Life four years ago. Her interest in becoming an eye doctor stemmed from her desire to care for others, “helping improve someone’s vision is always rewarding.”
Dr. Kilgore’s favorite moments on the vision van are when she helps examine large groups of students on an exam day. It’s exciting for her to know that the students are going to have an easier time in school when they receive their new glasses. She enjoys spending time with all of the students on the vision van, but the kindergartners stand out the most.
Outside of work, Dr. Kilgore enjoys spending time with her family and is heavily involved with sports and dance activities with her kids.
